Jay-Z, Beyoncé, & Kanye Are Coming Back [It's Been Seconds Since We've Seen You]

these 3 againIf there are three artists you barely ever get to read about on a Black music site it's Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Kanye West. To be sure, they are the least exposed artists of our time and could benefit from an extra, unsolicited promotional push here and there. This is where we step in, to feed your J/B/K need. You probably haven't heard this anywhere else, but the three of them are due to release albums pretty soon. It's been years bordering on eons since we've heard anything from these three, so the news that they are in the studio preparing works that will no doubt save the crumbling industry like Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman is just what we've been waiting for. I can no longer contain myself.

Jay-Z: The Blueprint 3
The genius thing about the next Jay-Z album is that he's decided not to wait too long to recapture the majesty of The Blueprint. It's almost as if he could hear people saying the original Blueprint was his best work since Reasonable Doubt and thought to himself, "You know what? I won't waste anyone's time with comeback albums in which I compare myself to Superman, or with concept albums almost entirely produced with leftover Bad Boy tracks from the late '90s. Let's revisit this whole Blueprint thing. It's not like I've done that before." In a shocking move, most of the new Jay-Z album will be produced by Kanye West, who's not getting enough work these days. "Swagger Like Us" featuring Kanye, T.I. and the criminally underrated Lil' Wayne has been confirmed as a single.

Beyoncé: Untitled (until someone approves Virtuoso Intellect...Heh)
The Internet could use a little more Beyoncé, couldn't it? Not a day goes by that I am not combing my RSS feeds searching for information on her, like the details of her marriage, where she was last spotted, what her wedding ring looks like, her latest hairdo, what her sister and nephew are up to, and when's she's releasing a new album. Have you been having as much trouble as me trying to find things on the Internet about Beyoncé? Well, you're in luck because I just found out her new album is on the way this November. Instead of going to the same old co-artists and producers, Beyoncé is reportedly working with unknowns like Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Kanye West. You got to give the girl her props for giving up-and-coming artists and producers a fair shot.

Kanye West: 808's & Heartbreak (not Good-Ass Job, sadly)
Honestly we thought Kanye would've waited a little longer to release a new album, so as not to compete with G.O.O.D. signee Common, but what does it matter? The world could use a little more of Kanye's refusal to fall in line with overused trends like auto-tune and singing, as well as his refreshing humility and maturity. The time between now and the last video to be released from Graduation was a period in which I suffered Kanye West withdrawal pains that can only be compared to the time when I bit my fingernails too quick anticipating a sequel to The Blues Brothers. 808's & Heartbreak may be released on 12/16, but could be pushed back until January. Oh, Kanye, why must you torture us so?

We will do our best to keep you, our faithful readers, up-to-date on the latest Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Kanye West news as it comes in. But please forgive us if we go weeks (perhaps even months) with no updates, as developments on these three are difficult to come by. We really wish the Internet was a little more committed to reporting on these very important and underexposed artists, for the good of Black music and America as a whole.
