This past Friday, Billboard honored Women in Music with a special breakfast held at the Hotel St. Regis in New York. The Ciara "Women of the Year" nod spread across the Internet quickly, eliciting a fair amount of rage, confusion and ambivalence. Also honored were Sylvia Rhone, president of Universal Motown and no doubt responsible for this and Blondie's Debra Harry. And, if the above image is any indication, another honoree was Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks. I'm not terribly fond of disrespecting the sisters, but I'm not above likening this woman to Lady Tremaine. Cut to: this patented Executive Side-Eye. [BB]
