Floating through my stream of consciousness this weekend was my wondering of what DJ Premier has been up to. While I'm sure he's somewhere rocking a party or piecing together a dope beat for an artist somewhere, Primo is a man whose well-known as one of the best DJs/producers in the business. Leave it to Phonte along with Stat Quo and Royce Da 5'9'' with production done nicely by Focus to pay respect to Premier with "Homage." If anything it's a nice conglomeration of some of Hip Hop's potent potables and a nice lyrical reminder from Phonte that Premier has brought us dope tracks for all parts if the musical spectrum from Group Home all the way to Christina Aguilera.
