‘Feel’ Lisa Shaw

LisaShaw_Press1.jpgSoulful and deep house heads are intimately familiar with the work of Lisa Shaw. From her days on the Naked Music label with the now classic "Always" to her work with DJ Miguel Migs, Lisa has one of the most recognized voices on the dance floor. Her 2005 solo debut Cherry, was a solid effort and introduced many to a different side of Shaw with more downtempo and soul/R&B sounds. In a couple of weeks her sophomore album, Free, will be released on Migs' label Salted Music, and she has another winner on her hands. One of the tracks that has me open is "Feel," which finds Lisa wondering out loud if the object of her desire wants to return the favor. This is a smooth cut to welcome the weekend with.

  1. Diggin the samples I heard at THIS is the CD Cherry should have been. I love Lisa, but that CD sounded like a bunch of demos... very underwhelming... Cant wait for this one to come out.

  2. Been waiting for this one to drop! My homie Rizpect Due did a couple of tracks with her but not sure which ones made the final cut

  3. Lisa Shaw is awesome, this track is as lovely as I expected it to be. The production is tight and crisp. She keeps getting better and better every time she puts something new out!

  4. I'm such a Lisa stan but would love to know why she left Naked after all these years. ICan't wait until March

  5. After the first 10 seconds I just said to myself " Of could i expect less?" Her first album was bliss and this song makes me long for more...
