James Ingram Reflects On Working With Michael Jackson

Biggups to ?uestlove for the heads up via Twitter that James Ingram will be a guest on tonight's episode of Tavis Smiley on PBS. Until the show airs later (check your local listings), this snippet of James chopping it up with Tavis was too hilarious not to share here now. In the clip, Smiley asks him what it was like working with Michael Jackson on the song "P.Y.T.," which Ingram wrote. His reenactment of MJ recording the song is pure comedy.

  1. Just when I thought I couldn't love this site anymore...
Best laugh I've had in a while.

  2. Hilarious!!!! I'll never listen to "P.Y.T." the same again.

  3. Classic! Don't you just love it when you see iconic figures do something would never imagine. Dude always seems so stoic you would imaging he can't move let alone be funny with it.

  4. Lawd that was funny! Reminds me of The Whispers footwork whenever they perform It's A Love Thing. If you catch a clip of them singing that song on Youtube, you'll understand what I mean.

  5. Oh my goodness, Tavis is killing me with his laugh at 1:25. @kissmyblackads, I would have never thought Ingram was this funny.
