Janet's Journey: The Making Of The MTV MJ Tribute

What was regrettably lost in all the Kanye West nonsense of just over a week ago is the stunning, touching, amazingly choreographed tribute to Michael Jackson put together by his sister Janet. The dancing was phenomenal, with an all-star roster of performers reenacting routines from "Thriller," "Smooth Criminal" and of course, "Scream." Imagine the pride this troupe felt when they got the call that they'd be chosen for the special performance. The "dream team" was a host of choreographers, including Chris Judd, Gil Duldulao, Tyce Diorio, Tina Landon, Jerri Slaughter, Travis Payne, Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Mia Michaels, LaurieAnn Gibson and Wade Robson. Thankfully, MTV chronicled their journey from a studio in Burbank to the big stage at Radio City Music Hall, from their initial meeting to the finished product. An incredible project, to say the least (even though "Ms. BoomKack" tries her best to stand out and thus, be annoying. Ugh). Check Part One below, with Part Two after the bounce. Enjoy.
