The best date I have ever been on in my life ended, not with a happy ending, but with a visit to TruthSeekers Radio. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, I was a regular listener thanks to their streaming audio, and had always imagined that there was some sort of secret portal that could only be reached by answering a riddle by a wizard who held beats in his pointy cap. Not so much, but the magical atmosphere created by the guest DJs and in-house DJs is easily captured by the music they spin. In fact, the wizard of beats in this case would undoubtedly be Santana, the host of the weekly show on WPFK. Given that 1AM-3AM is a bit of a late time slot, there is a petition to have the show be broadcast during more agreeable hours on Friday nights. Check out their radio shows here then be sure to sign the petition. Diamond D may have said that he's the best-kept secret. In LA, however, TruthSeekers takes that prize.
