There comes a time when we must all take a long look in the mirror and decide what our best course of action is without worrying about the scrutiny of others. When it comes to those who are closest to us, however, this sentiment is harder to achieve. So went the dilemma that Erykah Badu faced when deciding to go nude in her new video for "Window Seat." Filmed guerrilla style in an homage to Matt and Kim's "Lessons Learned" video, Erykah recently chronicled over several tweets how she asked several of those closest to her, baby daddies, her children, her extended family, and her children, for their opinion. Not surprisingly, her mother was not terribly sold on the idea, but in the end she received rousing support to showcase her body for her art and political views. More may have been captivated by her booty then her cause, but "groupthink" and her desire to bring attention to its dangers may certainly be on the minds of more than they were before the video's premiere.
