Oh how I missed you, Glee. I didn't fully realize the void in my life when you left me for a four month "break." I understand that sometimes people need time away from each other to truly cherish the time that they spend together. Yes, I understand. But now that you're back in my life, I don't want you to go. Although I'm a greedy lover, our weekly rendezvous is enough for me. Seriously, you bring me joy like a Mary J. Blige song. Your return last night was more than I could have hoped for, especially the end of our hour together, which prepared me for our next session. Although I'm not as big a Madonna fan as I used to be in the
'80s/'90s, your decision to bring her into our mix next week is sheer genius. I so wasn't ready for Jane Lynch, who plays the deliciously wicked Sue Sylvester, to come out of her bag with that spot-on interpretation of Madge's "Vogue" video. It was incredible and just enough to whet my appetite for your "Power of Madonna" episode. Needless to say, I can't wait to see you again, Glee. Next week can't come soon enough.
