Good Lord I love this song. Toni Braxton's new video for her single "Make My Heart," off of her May 4th release Pulse, is the type of music that I absolutely adore dancing to. Toni drops it with double doses of fun, fashion and campy characters in this video that has everything you can ask for in a dance song's visuals--from vogue masters to church ladies with fans. While Toni never looks less than cover-girl glam--we expect it by now from the diva who is as well known for her interchangeable hair extensions as she is for her smoky vocals--the look she sports in this vid is by far my favorite for the singer. Making the short 'do fashionable in the '90s when she jumped on the scene with her break-out hit "Love Should Have Brought You Home," Toni pulls off this funky new style with ease.
But hair hotness aside, who can ignore the inclusiveness that is portrayed in this video? Toni is letting us know that her music is for everyone and what better place for everyone to meet then on the dance floor? Let the party begin!
