Mary J. Blige gets an A for effort for still trying to make her last album, Stronger with Each Tear, relevant with the release of a video for the song "We Got Hood Love." Unfortunately that hood love aint exactly good love as seen in this clip filled with couples fighting and fussing from the bedroom to the sidewalk before kissing and making up. A duet with Trey Songz--who can't hold a note next to K-Ci, George Michael or any of Blige's former partners in song--this track would have really popped off with a stronger male vocalist to complement Mary. Songz just isn't doing it for me, and neither is this video. Although, I must say, Mary's beau is looking kinda delicious.
