From the producer of You Got Served and the director of Beatmakers comes Battle, a coming-of-age tale about an Atlanta-area producer who balances beats and school to fulfill his dream of winning a beat battle. Though Movieweb may have described this as an "urban Rocky"--huh?--I think this movie feels more like Juice, minus Omar Epps and Tupac's stellar acting, malt liquor being used to flavor eggs cooking in a skillet, and a murder plot.
