The Roots & John Legend Are ‘Doin It Again’

We've already called 2010 as the Year of Soul, but we may need to change that to the Year of Hip Hop & Soul. There's no question that this year has already brought its fair share of bangers, with recent releases from Little Brother, Reflection Eternal and Nas and Damian Marley with upcoming albums from Slum Village and Kanye West on the way. But the piece of hip hop heat that I can't wait to finally listen to is The Roots' How I Got Over, which finally hits the streets on June 22nd. After complaining that we had yet to hear a second single up until a few weeks ago, a few leaks have surfaced to whet our appetites and show us how The Legendary Roots Crews is doing it this time around. On "Doin It Again" Black Thought and the fellas throw John Legend's song "Again" back on the grill and heat it up with Thought's wicked flow and ?uestlove beating those drums into submission. My only complaint about this jawn? It's too short! [H/T: OKP]
