LaToiya Williams Is Back Because She 'Can't Leave You Alone'

Remember LaToiya Williams from her 2007 song "Fallen Star" with the corresponding video where Snoop Dogg was showing us his best '70's moves? Well, if not, it was a fun, retro romp where we listened to Latoiya showcase her dynamite voice, which is remarkably similar to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. So, don't be surprised to see the use of a campy, retro theme in this new video from her for "I Can't Leave You Alone," the first single from her upcoming album. This time, it's not the '70s, but the '90s that this video takes us back to. Think Boyz n the Hood meets Baby Boy meets Menace II Society with a baseball bat wielding lover to boot. A Spike Lee joint this is not, but it may be the fun needed in the middle of your day. I think LaToiya is even laughing during most of her scenes, particularly the bedroom scenes that look like bad porn shot set-ups. This was supposed to be funny, right? You tell me.
