Bounce-Worthy songstress Tamika "Love" Jones, who is fast-becoming one of my top faves from the DMV area, brings us her debut music video for the song "Dumb Love." With shots of Malcolm X Park in Washington, DC providing the perfect backdrop, I was immediately smitten. Admittedly, I
was looking forward to the video being plot-driven to accompany this
song, which is melodically perfect and lyrically familiar, but peeping
artsy angles of beautiful young Black people wasn't a bad alternative. Tamika (who in my opinion favors another DC-based singer who
I adore, Tamara Wellons) is truly a captivating artist, and with this second single from her
self-titled sophomore album illustrating her talent almost boisterously
so, it won't be long before her name will be household common in no time
