Has It Really Come To This? T-Pain & Rick Ross Present A ‘Rap Song’

One of the best examples of stop-motion animation used in a video has to be Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer," but that was all the way back in 1986. The video for T-Pain and Rick Ross' "Rap Song" features every subject in the video frozen in time in a club that I'm imagining is a circle of hell that Dante just refused to include in his Inferno. Sure, the song's title is hopelessly generic, which has to make sense to someone somewhere, but I must say that after watching it the whole way through, this is the only time I have actually wanted needed Rick Ross to save me from whatever I was hearing. Did I mention there's a goat head involved? Press play. You know you want to.

  1. I can't believe I just wasted 1:51 (cause I refused the rest of the video) of my life, that I can't get back...

  2. I would never have watched this video if you hadn't mentioned the goat's head; I just had to see it. I stopped the insanity right after that part.
P.S. Not to argue semantics, but Sledgehammer was 1986 not '95 🙂

  3. Thanks, Funk Fly. You are correct. Will be changed posthaste.

  4. lets see we have one negro who is a walking minstrel show (T-Lame) and another negro who lied about being a gangsta when he was actually a guard (officer Ricky). Yeah I dont see how this CANNOT be a success..............................SMDH at the state of hip hop.
