Salah Ananse Tips Janelle Monáe’s ‘Tightrope’ Even Tighter

Although Salah Ananse's remix of Janelle Monáe's "Tightrope" has been making the rounds, mainly at sweat-your-hairstyle-out house music bashes, it has only recently come to the attention of those who don't always have the time necessary to stretch before listening to music. Possessing a nice Afro-futuristic sound that envelops Janelle's vocals quite nicely, this remix renders the listener useless to not at least doing a bit of a bottom shimmy. And to emphasize the difference in this remix from the original, here's an older photo of Janelle without her trademark pompador atop her head. Take a listen to something delightfully different after you listen.
