"Levels" was one of my favorite tracks off Airtight's Revenge. The brooding, frantic beat was the perfect accompaniment to Bilal's dark tale, and it was certainly a far cry from his earlier work, something which seemed to divide his existing fan base. To kick off the new year and maintain the album's momentum, Bilal and Plug Research are releasing the Levels EP, which features the original track alongside the instrumental and remixes by Flying Lotus and Sonnymoon. You can hear the Fly-Lo remix below, which takes the original down several notches, creating a much more mellow, jazzed-out feel. The EP is available via iTunes or the Plug Research store.
