We here at SoulBounce have made no secret about our love for Carlitta Durand. Since first
appearing on the scene a few years ago, she's busied herself by creating a strong catalog
of releases. So when she released her latest song, "HisStory," I knew before even pressing
play that it'd be an instant fave. And as usual, Durand doesn't disappoint. Her ultra-smooth
voice rides the wave of this warm groove in this inspirational ode to everyday struggle. While
she admitted to recording this song a couple of years ago, she tweeted that she felt it fitting
to release it now in honor of Black History Month to encourage black men. As if we needed
another reason to like her even more.
