Fatima has been steadily easing herself into the consciousness of music lovers worldwide via her solo work and collaborations with world-renowned producers including Floating Points, Dam-Funk and Funkineven. Her earlier work was typically of the electro/future-soul variety, but her most recent collaboration with Floating Points on the fantastic "Post Suite" introduced us to the more melodic, soulful side of Fatima. Her jazzy, free-form vocals were stunning, and thankfully it seems that she is going to explore this direction further on her upcoming Follow You EP. The four-track project is again a collaboration with Floating Points and if the first release, "Red Light," is anything to go by, this is going to be an essential addition to anyone's collection.
