Nina Vidal's The Open-Ended Fantasy still has no firm release date either in the US or the UK. The album has done extremely well in the Japanese charts but it seems that, for one reason or another, her label is holding back for now. In fact, it looks like we'll get her third project, an album of love song covers from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, before her sophomore effort sees the light of day. Whatever the reason for the hold up, we can still enjoy snippets of the project here and there. We brought you "Let's Just Stay In" late last year, and now we have the official first single "Cigarette & Wine" for your listening pleasure. The song has been floating around since 2010, but it's finally getting the proper push that it deserves. I really like her brand of jazz-heavy soul music and think that, given the right push, she'll be a hit in the US and the UK. Take a listen below and show your support in the comments.
