Well-known podcasters SoulandJazz.com have made the leap from releasing DJ mixes to starting a full-fledged independent label, showcasing some of the most promising underground soul and jazz performers from around the globe. The first release on the label is The Hurst Selection 1, which, as the name suggests, was compiled by radio presenter/DJ Brian Hurst. The project will feature tracks by familiar names such as Avery Sunshine, LeNora Jaye, and Live Tropical Fish featuring Omar, as well as up-and-coming acts like Nothende and Victoria Urusova. Snippets of all the tracks can be heard here, and we have two full tracks to share with you, the beautiful "Feels Like Love" by Kabanya-Chemise and Nothende's mid-tempo dance floor groove "Dance To This (Unrapped Mix)."
