It's been a few months since we've heard anything from Ayah after she and DJ Jazzy Jeff put a nice little gift underneath our trees last Christmas. It wasn't their whole album, which we've been patiently waiting on for a while now, but
it was enough to get us through the holidays. Now Ayah returns with a little something to get us through these last days of spring with the soulful jam "When It Comes To You." Produced by Nick Brongers, the song is '70s retro but sounds totally modern with Ayah singing to a man who is driving her to drink. It's so good to hear Ayah again and even better to hear that she will be releasing more tunes from her vault via her Bandcamp page, so keep it locked there and here. And as for that album with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ayah assures me that This Way will be coming our way later this year with a mixtape, entitled Back For More, on the way this summer.
