I've been keeping up with producer/vocalist Isaac Aesili since I came across his '09 release Eye See and the fantastic single "With You In My Bed," so I was pleased to see that he is releasing a new album as part of the duo Funkommunity, alonside fellow Kiwi and Eye See collaborator Rachel Fraser. If the first track to surface, "The Light," is anything to go by, then this will be another essential slice of NZ soul music.
