While we wait patiently for the release of Little Dragon's third album, Ritual Union, due to drop this July, there are a ridiculous amount of remixes making the rounds to keep our ears busy. In fact, it seems that not a week goes by when someone, somewhere hasn't put their spin on one of LD's dreamy synth-soul songs. One such remix that's been floating around is by producer Trackademicks who has taken one of my favorite LD tracks, "Looking Glass," and transformed it from a bubbly, upbeat dance floor-filler into something much more laid-back. It's a testament to Yukimi Nagano's vocals that the beat can be changed so drastically, yet she still sounds so wonderful.
