Lauryn Hill Did Her 'Thing' On 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon'

Last month the always-polarizing Ms. Lauryn Hill performed "Could You Be Loved" and "Chances Are" as part of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon's Bob Marley tribute run. Opinions on her performances were varied, however the general consensus was that Lauryn had regained some of her former vocal glory and, as is always the case when Lauryn performs, talk of a possible comeback was rife -- only to be somewhat steam-rollered by the news that she is once again pregnant. Whether or not Lauryn is staging/will ever stage a comeback is anyone's guess right now, but on last night's Late Night we did get a glimpse of the Lauryn we know and love. Presumably filmed at the same time as the Marley tribute, Hill gave a sped up rendition of her biggest hit to date, "Doo Wop (That Thing)." The singing was, at times, a little off (possibly due to the break-neck speed of her rapping?), however Lauryn proved that her MC skills, at least, are still on point.
