Anthony Hamilton Has Some New Music For 'You'

While I can say, hand on heart, that I love Anthony Hamilton, 2008's Point Of It All didn't quite hit the mark for me. I can't put my finger on what was missing, but it just didn't seem to live up to his previous releases and felt a little rushed. While we wait for Anthony to drop another full album -- which apparently he is working on -- a few new songs have surfaced, which should tide us over and give us something else to listen to aside from "So In Love" with Jill Scott. It's not clear whether these are songs from an upcoming release or material left on the cutting room floor from albums past, buy hey new Anthony is new Anthony, right? "You," produced by Jack Splash, is a great slice of mid-tempo, timeless R&B. "Fantasy Girl," however, left me scratching my head. I'm all for artists changing it up a little now and again but this Dre & Vidal produced dance number is, in my opinion, a little bland and doesn't sit right. Let us know what you think in the comments. [H/T: SC]
