We're still mourning the death of Amy Winehouse here around SoulBounce (we'll be featuring her videos every morning this week in case you haven't figured it out by now), but the artist community is especially struck by the loss of one of their own. Many have taken it upon themselves to pay tribute to the fallen star by singing her music, including Canadian songstress Melanie Fiona. Interestingly, she actually recorded this video of her singing Amy's "Wake Up Alone" in January of this year when she was touring in London but never posted it to her YouTube channel for whatever reason. With Amy's passing, Melanie thought it a fitting way to pay her respects by posting this video of her tackling this particular song from Back to Black. We're glad that she decided to finally share this -- even under these unfortunate circumstances -- because she sounds absolutely lovely.
