Alice Russell Goes 'Crazy' For 'Queens Of Pop'

We here at SoulBounce are still patiently awaiting a follow up to Alice Russell's 2008 album, Pot of Gold. While we wait, we're willing to take any bit the songstress will throw in the direction of our ears. In June we showed you video of Alice performing "Breakdown," an unreleased track that knocked our socks off, and now we bring you another spectacular showing. Appearing on Queens of Pop, a European program paying tribute to the pop divas of the past five decades, Alice, performing with producer extraordinaire TM Juke, blew the wheels off of Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love." Opting to reinterpret it from a booty-popping R&B jam into a foot-stomping soul burner, Alice and TM give the eight-year-old song a whole new life. After seeing what she could do to Beyoncé, I'm now anticipating new music from Ms. Russell more than ever.
