Not only is Tuesday, August 9th the international holiday otherwise known as my birthday, but that is the day that Avery Sunshine will be releasing the three-song EP, Summer. Featuring two remixes of songs from her self-titled debut as blazing as the heat waves that have gripped most of the United States this season, Avery also drops an original on the set. "Bags Packed" is a '60's sounding throwback with Ms. Sunshine making sure her man has his bags packed -- and not because she's sending him to the left, to the left, but because she wants him to do better for himself with her at his side. With Avery sounding like she's a Motown star, he'd be a fool not to do right. And you'd be a fool not to pick Summer up when it drops next week,
