Nikki Jean Makes One 'Love'-ly Video

Philly songstress Nikki Jean is cuteness personified. Of course this is no surprise to those that already follow her constantly-updated video blog The Nikki Jean Project. Not only does she give her loyal followers face time and updates about her music projects there, but she also gives out recipes, knits, and sells her cookies (which I've heard are delicious). If you've been following her video blog lately, then you would've seen her newest visual for "My Love," the Motown-esque song from her album Pennies In a Jar. Like Nikki herself, the video is...well...cute. It's full of homespun goods and objects used and re-purposed to create the lyrics to the song. Everything from grains of rice to Scrabble tiles are used and she even ventured outside, involving Philly locals in the process. This is definitely one case where the lyric video could very well be just as good as a regular one. Though, Nikki, if you're reading this, the public definitely needs to see a video with you doing your thing. Pennies was released this July and is definitely worthy of a listen or two, so be sure to support Ms. Jean a pick up a copy.
