Get Into Some 'Trouble' With José James

José James' Blackmagic was one of my favorite albums of 2010. So when I learned that he was hard at work on his fourth studio album, No Beginning, No End, my excitement bubbled to the surface. Now that my ears have been blessed and caressed by the first single, "Trouble," I am officially fiending for another hit like my name is Pookie. José takes us on a soulful and jazzy journey with the help an organ and horn section that make this sound like something you would have heard in a smoky nightclub back in the '70s on a double bill with Al Green. James bares his heart and soul as he sings about needing his lady to understand his troubles and struggles. This is a dope preview of the next chapter in José James' musical story. For an added bonus, check out the Oh No remix after the bounce to hear this track with a little more hip-hop flavor in the mix.
