'No' Second Chances From Baby Sol

I always look forward to seeing videos from some of my favorite independent artists, as I'm interested to see what they can come up with, in comparison to their major-label contemporaries, given the huge differences in budget. A video doesn't have to be flashy or filled with effects to be good. No, it needs to tell a story or create an atmosphere, preferably one that has something to do with the song it relates to. One video that certainly achieves this is Baby Sol's latest effort for "No, No," the second single from her Before I Begin (The Journey) EP. The song's bright and breezy reggae rhythms, together with the colorful, sunshine-filled visuals create a cheerful vibe that matches Baby Sol's relief to be free of that annoyingly persistent suitor.
