After spending his days running the Wah Wah 45s label alongside Dom Servini, and working on projects from the label's stable of artists, Scrimshire has found the time to follow up his 2009 debut Along Came The Devil One Night. The Hollow will be released on November 21st and will feature fellow Wah Wah signees Stac, The Hackney Colliery Band, and Faye Houston (of the dub/reggae outfit Resonators) amongst its extensive roster of guests. The first single from the project, "Home," features the Sade-esque tones of Faye over an enchanting, guitar driven beat, the combination of which transports you to a calmer, more mellow place. I've had a sneak peak at the rest of the album, and this is definitely one that fans of laid-back, soulfully eclectic sounds will want to check out.
