Completing a successful run of his Intimacy Tour earlier this year and currently shooting scenes for his feature film debut in the movie Sparkle has not kept KEM from supporting a worthy cause. He has been named the spokesperson for The Heat & Warmth Fund (THAW), an independent non-profit
agency that provides emergency energy assistance for low-income families in Michigan. Unfortunately, like so many programs that provide assistance throughout the nation, THAW's budget
has been severely cut due to state and federal funding cuts. As KEM's first act as spokesperson, he has been promoting the "Text to Give" campaign to raise
much needed funds for THAW's mission. The "Text to Give" campaign enables anyone to text the
word "THAW" to 50555 to make a one-time $10 donation (the charge will appear on your phone bill),
towards THAW's emergency energy efforts. Since some of us were shocked to get snow in October and we can only imagine how cold this winter
