With New York City as his co-star, Mateo releases the video for his current single "Say It's So." The city that never sleeps is the perfect backdrop for the angsty pop/R&B track where we see the singer pining over a lost lover who is also walking around town just going through the motions. Although Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz accompany Mateo on the song, they're absent from the video and their star power isn't missed because this young man holds it down quite nicely. The video kept my attention and when I thought I had the happy ending figured out in my head and it didn't end the way I thought, I could appreciate it for not being predictable.
