I was only saying the other day on twitter that my Christmas playlist needed an injection of freshness. Well it seems that someone was listening as not only did Jean Baylor release the track "Celebrate," with a full EP to follow, but SoulBounce favorite Choklate also announced an upcoming Christmas project entitled Fah La La La La: The Christmas EP, which will be released on December 9th. The first release from the EP is "Tis the Season," a glittering, modern slice of Christmas fair complete with the obligatory jingling bells and a smooth, understated vocal from Chokolate that should melt even the coldest of hearts. The EP was produced entirely by Kuddie Fresh and marks the first time the pair have worked together musically, as well as it being the first foray into Christmas music for both of them. I for one can't wait to hear what the rest of the EP has in store.
