Georgia Anne Muldrow is in the running for Daughter of the Year after the release of her album Owed To Mama Rickie, a musical tribute to her mother Rickie Byars Beckwith. Muldrow blends her spiritual roots with her funky production on this collection and even received the assistance of Bilal on the lead single "More & More." A video recently surfaced for the tune, and it's a mix of footage of GAM and Bilal singing separately with clips and photos of beautiful brown people of all hues mixed in. The video could use a little more polish to not look so homemade, and it would have been cool to see Georgia and Bilal actually interact in a scene together. Sometimes less is more, but in this case a little more would have gone a long way.
