I typically stay woke when it comes to good music, but every now and then I get caught sleeping and have to play catch up. Charge it to the music blogging game and the sheer volume of music that comes across my desk on any given day. Something that slipped past my radar was LA-based duo TiRon & Ayomari's album, A Sucker For Pumps, which was released in September and is described as "an album about boys and girls, dedicated to men and women." Sweet. And even sweeter is their cute and comical video for the track "All My Love" featuring singer Yummy Bingham (where has she been?!). Set in an elementary school, TiRon plays the principal, Ayomari is a coach, and Yummy is a teacher to a group of rambunctious children. Don't let their cuteness fool ya, these kids are too cool for school. The song itself is a smooth banger with Bingham on the hook and a nice Slick Rick sample adding to the head nod factor. It only took one video, but TiRon & Ayomari have found a new fan in me.
