DMV Bouncers, if you have yet to make it to the monthly Axel F throwback parties at Liv, then this side-eye is for you...I mean...what are you waiting on? If you are a fan of soul music in all its variant forms from 1977-1987, then there is nowhere else you need to be on the fourth Saturday of every month than at Liv in Washington, DC to hear the holy trinity of DMV DJs -- DJ Stylus, Jahsonic, and Adrian Loving -- throw down the old school jams like only they can. Axel F is celebrating a milestone this month with its one-year anniversary on deck on Saturday, January 28th. The turntables will be rocking but this event is going to be extra special with the addition of the Sexual Chocolate Band & Show featuring Zo!, Phonte, Debórah Bond, N'digo Rose, and N'ea Posey performing live covers of tunes from that era. Oh yes, you can bet your last money, it's all gonna be a stone gas, honey! The levels of musical madness that will occur at this event will be epic.
