LA-based musician/producer Thavius Beck (aka Adlib) is the latest addition to Plug Research's impressive roster of artists, which includes SoulBounce favorites Bilal, Quadron, Sonnymoon, and Szjerdene to name but a few. Thavius' background is predominantly in jazz music, however he has worked with eclectic artists such as Saul Williams and Trent Reznor, and this eclecticism carries over to his first release for the label, his EP Heaven Bleeds Sunshine. The five-track instrumental collection blends jazz, electro, and hip-hop influences into a cohesive, yet varied project that he and the label are giving away for free.
