Lucky Paul & Mara TK Take Us On A Trip To 'Elephant Island'

After last year's Band Of Brothers Vol.1, a collaborative effort with vocalist Hollie Smith, we have been eagerly awaiting Mara TK hooking back up with his Electric Wire Hustle cohorts and releasing a follow-up to their fantastic debut. Unfortunately, it seems Mara is in no rush, and has been busy in the studio working on a number of side projects, including the New Zealand collective Fly My Pretties and an EP with fellow New Zealander Lucky Paul. The DJ/producer has a number of EPs and singles under his belt, traversing hip-hop, electronica, and woozy R&B, so a hook-up with Mara TK is wholly appropriate. "Elephant Island" is certainly not a track that instantly grabs you and demands repeated listens, rather it is a subtle slice of soulful electronica that could act as the perfect soundtrack for doing absolutely nothing. Check out the visuals that accompany the track below, made up of vintage film footage of explorer Ernest Shackleton's fated Antarctic voyage upon the Endurance.
