To help celebrate their third residency at the Brooklyn Bowl (aka Bowlive III), soul/jazz/funk trio Soulive invited some special guests on stage to tear the roof off the joint on the final evening of a 10-night run. Joining Eric Krasno, Alan Evans, and Neal Evans were guitarist Derek Trucks, Nigel Hall, and SoulBounce fave Ledisi. The talented group of artists performed a show-stopping rendition of the Sam Cooke classic "A Change Is Gonna Come" that really has to be heard to be believed. Everyone managed to hold their own, but a special mention must go to Trucks and Ledisi whose guitar and vocal took things to the next level. Now only if Ledisi would get Soulive on her next album I'd be a very happy man.
