While Tamara Wellons may be taking a different direction to what we are used to with her upcoming Songs For Janie project, it's good to know that she hasn't forgotten her roots and still has soulful house in her heart. "Euphoria" shows why Tamara is one of the most beloved voices of the genre and, with guest mixes by the likes of DJ Spinna and Jose Carretas, you know this one is going to be a banger. However, it's the remix courtesy of the little known (at least to me) Dolls Combers that really sets the speakers on fire and has me daydreaming of a poolside bar somewhere hot, drink in hand. The eight-track EP, which also features a mix by Jonny Montana and a bonus Anto Vitale mix of "Out Of This World" is available via Traxsource now.
