Bounce-Worthy: Madia

I have been meaning to write about this young lady for quite some time now but as the saying goes, "better late than never." Madia is no newcomer to the music scene, having released her debut album, The Limit Is The Sky, in 2003 and the follow up, On My Way, in 2005. In addition to releasing her own material she has also had success as a songwriter, working with DC's 3 Keys Record Label and penning material for YahZarah's Blackstar album. 2012 sees the talented singer concentrating once again on her solo career with the release of her third album, Go Get It, a soulful gumbo incorporating R&B, pop, and gospel influences. The album itself is jam-packed full of gems, however her soulful ode to Washington's famous arts-centric U Street on the aptly titled "U Street" is irresistible, and "Call Me Crazy" shows that she can craft a great pop song while maintaining her credibility.
