All this good sexytime music would be coming out when I don't have a boo to share it with, but I'll be storing up these slow jams for a later date like a squirrel does nuts. Pause. The newest addition to my after hours playlist comes from none other than Bounce-Worthy singer/songwriter Lance Drummonds. In the second installment of his A Cover Story project, he takes on Marvin Gaye's bedroom classic "I Want You." However, this isn't a straight-ahead remake. Instead, Drummonds flips the lyrics from lovelorn to lusty with this pleasing interpretation. If you recall, he recently premiered his duet with Adeline on their cover of Marvin and Tammi Terrell's "Your Precious Love," which was another fresh take on an oldie but goodie much like this.
