Let Jazzanova's Latest Video Make You A 'Believer'

We already sang the praises of Jazzanova's upcoming Funkhaus Studio Sessions album (due to be released this May on Sonar Kollectiv) and now we have a video to accompany one of my favorite tracks on the album, "Believer." The use of live studio footage as a song's video seems to be growing in popularity of late, possibly due to the relatively low costs involved for those artists with little promotional budget, but we are certainly not complaining. In fact, there is something special about getting a glimpse into the recording process and seeing the interaction between band members. The track itself is built around a funky, thumping bassline with Paul Randolph's distinctive, slightly raspy vocals holding things together nicely. I don't know about you, but I am dying to hear a soulful house spin on this.
