Little Dragon Floated Like A 'Feather' At The UCLA JazzReggae Festival

Can you hear it? Sure it's April but the early cracklings of summer have surfaced! So you know what that means -- massive gatherings on sprawling lawns with booze, food, tunes, and, of course, those lovely lines at the Porta-Pottys. Sigh. Outdoor concerts and festivals have officially arrived and one such festival is just around the corner. The UCLA JazzReggae Festival is happening again during Memorial Day weekend (May 27-28) at the UCLA campus and this year they've got a heavyweight line-up consisting of The Roots, Bobby Womack, Shaggy, Don Carlos, and Collie Buddz, so expect some great sounds to come from the Golden State this May. If you need further convincing of such an occasion (because grass stains and gobs of sweaty people is not my forte), then be assured with our much beloved Little Dragon and their lush performance of "Feather" at last year's festival. If anything you'll be mesmerized by Yukimi's scarf dance a la Stevie Nicks and wonder what you were doing last year to miss such a performance. Needless to say, don't make the same mistake this year. For all the 411 about the festival, visit its official webspot or bounce over to their Facebook fan page.
