Even though it was officially released back in 2010, it wasn't until late last year that I came across Elle, the sophomore album from Dutch songstress Ntjam Rosie. With its blend of soulful vocals (in both English and French) and jazz-steeped grooves the album was a much-needed breath of fresh air. A close contender for standout cut from the album -- the award eventually went to the sublime "In Need" -- was the irresistable "L'Amour," a track that caught my ear despite my complete and utter failure at French. A guest verse from singer/MC Esperanzah (one half of Numaads) just added the icing on an already tasty cake. "L'Amour," along with five more tracks, will make up Ntjam's latest release, a sic-track live CD/DVD package being released exclusively via her website and at her live shows. Feast your eyes and ears below.
