We might have given Leela James' remake of the Etta James classic "Something's Got a Hold On Me" a bit of tough love in our initial review, but the music video is here to entertain. Leela takes us back in time but also keeps it current in these visuals that feature black-and-white footage of a 1960's Leela with more colorful footage of the Leela of today. Back in the day and today Leela are doing the same things -- singing, recording in the studio, performing on stage -- via a split screen, and it's fun to see the commonalities and differences in both sets of scenes. Take a look at the video, and be on the look out for Leela's Etta James tribute album, Loving You More...In the Spirit of Etta James, dropping on July 31st.
